Composition Each Syrup Contains: Ambroxol 30mg, Guaiphenesin 50mg, Terbutalin 1.25mg & Menthol 1mg Syp. Product Description Ambroxol Ambroxol is a strong expectorant. Guaiphenesin Guaiphenesin is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Terbutalin Terbutaline is a ß2-adrenergic receptor agonist. Menthol Menthol is a covalent organic compound made synthetically or obtained from peppermint or other mint oils. Mechanism of Action AmbroxolIt enables sticky phlegm to be removed from the respiratory tract faster and more easily by enhancing the bronchial secretions that loosen congested phlegm. Guaiphenesin Guaiphenesin is an expectorant which clears chest congestion by loosening and reducing the viscosity of phlegm, increasing the volume of phlegm and making coughs more productive. Terbutalin used as a fast-acting bronchodilator (often used as a short-term asthma treatment) and as a tocolytic to delay premature labour.
