Cyproheptadine HCL 2 mg.
Tricholine Citrate 2.75 mg.

Product Description
Cyproheptadine HCL is an antihistaminic and antiserotonergic agent. It acts as a 5-HT2 receptor antagonist and also blocks calcium channels.
Tricholine Citrate It is a quaternary ammonium compound having a hydroxyl substituent. It is a strongly basic hygroscopic amine substance.

Mechanism of Action
Cyproheptadine HCL It acts as a 5-HT2 receptor antagonist and also blocks calcium channels.
Tricholine Citrate Choline prevents the deposition of fat in the liver.

Pharmaco Kinetics
Bioavailability - Protein binding 96 to 99%. Metabolism - Hepatic and renal. Half life - 1 to 4 hours & Excretion - Fecal and renal


Indications
In treatment of allergies (specifically Hay fever) and is also used to stimulate appetite in underweight people (e.g. anorexia nervosa). .

Dosage
Recommended dose is 2 teaspoons daily.

Contra Indication
Digestive System: epigastric distress

Special Precautions
Avoid in patients with neuromuscular disorders.
